Can I be mushy, just this once?
Ok, I'm normally not a mushy person. In fact, I'm probably the most unmushy girl you'll ever meet. But I have to get mushy for just a second about my husband. I can't believe how lucky I am sometimes. Brian has been having some issues with a company that he's working with, and it's really uncool. But in hearing about all of the problems, it makes me realize just how lucky I am. Brian is the most admirable person that I have ever met. He would never cheat anybody on anything. I am so blessed to have him in my life, not only as my husband, but my best friend. He helps me with Jake, he helps with house work, and he is just my all around knight in shining armor. I only hope that everyone can have as great a man as me! I love you Brian! Thanks for being soooo wonderful!

For Alessia
This post is for my best friend Alessia. She really means sooo much to me. She bought this outfit for Jake while she was out of town. Isn't it adorable? I can't believe how much our lives have changed since college. In some ways it seems like yesterday we were spending every minute together running around campus and lying by the pool. In other ways, that seems like a lifetime ago. I'll never forget that fall day when we saw Creed! Thanks for being such a great friend girl....I love ya!

THE BEST WEEKEND EVER!!!

We had the best weekend in the history of weekends! Well, at least in MY history of weekends. On Saturday we went to Heard Museum. They have all kinds of neat stuff to look at, and some great hiking trails. Mommy, Daddy and I went for a 3 mile hike and had a really good time. I rode in a baby backpack that the museum let us borrow! I LOVED it. I just kept chatting and chatting. At one point mommy asked "Do you like that?" and I responded "Dy dyk dat!" Mommy said it was really cute. I slept for about half the hike and boy was it the best sleep! It was one of the best times that the three of us had together and Mommy and Daddy will never forget it! Mommy, Daddy and I can't wait to go back!
Then Sunday was Easter. We went to church with Mimi and Grandad and had a good time. Mommy really liked the choir! She got goose bumps from how beautiful they sounded. And that's saying a lot for Mommy! I did a great job of sitting still and being quiet too. Yea me! After church, Aunt Sharon, Aunt Susan, Uncle David and Mimi and Grandad came over to our house. We had a great time! Mimi and Grandad gave me a Duck that quacks songs, and I named him Quacker. He makes me laugh! We sat outside and enjoyed the nice day. It was a really nice family day at home. I was sooooo tuckered out after they left that I went to sleep at 7pm and didn't wake up till 7am! Yea for Mommy! I hope everyone had a Great Easter and remembered what it's all about! Not Easter bunnies, but Jesus!

Dallas Blooms at the Arboretum
Yesterday we went to the Arboretum with a bunch of my friends. It's really convinient because their mommies are my Mommy's friends too. We had a really good time, eventhough we didn't see much. I really liked the grass. It's soooo soft. We are going to go back soon and get even more pictures. A big shout out to Tommy and his Mommy Clare who not only gave us a ride, but packed a lunch for all of us, and let us in on her family pass! Thanks Miss Clare! I hope you all enjoy the pics!
