I'm a happy boy. Really!

Ok, I don't like strangers, and yes that means Santa too. I walked up to him alright, but as soon as Mommy put me in his lap, I couldn't contain my tears. I know he brings toys to girls and boys all over the world, but he's still a big guy that I don't know. Maybe next year... In the mean time, at least Mommy and Daddy don't have to worry about me running off with a stranger...well, at least not too much.

I have, however, had a really great first year of life! I LOVE life. I love to smile and I do it a lot. Mommy is really looking forward to Christmas this year. She says she didn't decorate the house last year because I was young and she was pooped! She did put up the tree, but that was it. This year, she's going all out! I'm looking forward to seeing all the pretty decorations and trees. This is the first of many magical Christmas seasons to come, and she is so so so excited about it. She is very happy and thankful to have the family that she has always dreamed of. She feels like the luckiest girl around to have such a wonderful kid (that'd be me!) and amazing husband. Her life couldn't be better and she sometimes has to pinch herself to make sure she's not dreaming. But she's not...I'm really that great!!!!

Well, here are some more pics for you to enjoy! See, I really am a happy boy!

HAVE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

Happy Birthday Big Guy!

We missed Conan's birthday party because I was sick. But I just wanted to say...

Happy 2nd Birthday Conan!!!!

You've grown soooo much, soooo fast! I can't believe how much you've changed from when I held you as a precious newborn in my arms at the hospital. You are a great kid, and even though I have no right to be, I'm proud of you. Stay good!

Love,
Joy, Brian and Jake

Trick or Treat!

Well yesterday was Jake's first time to go trick or treating. And mine too! Yes, mine too. I wasn't allowed when I was a kid. So I was soooo excited. Jake had a really good time. Everyone kept saying that was cute. The best quote all night was "that is too cool for school man." And that was from an Aggie, so that's saying a lot! He also experienced his first lolipop last night! He LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it. Did I mention he loved it? He was covered in sticky drool! Too cute. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pics!

Go Horns!

Here we are on the way up to our first house.

Cool Mom! That lady gave me a lolipop!

Here comes the sugar high!

These are pics from the Aroboretum. Can you believe all the pumpkins? Jake and Kierstyn had a lot of fun running around! It was sooooo beautiful.
