The fun keeps on going!

Here I am at Animal House! I had a blast riding the horsey!

I had so much fun at this place! Look at all the squishy blocks I can play with!

My lastest obsession. Mommy and Daddy had to move the trash can, because I like to lick it!

This was part of Daddy's Father's Day gift! And below I made one for Grandad too! They were fun to make, and Mommy will probably make more!

Times Goes By

Mommy has been so busy, she hasn't had a chance to update the blog in a while. So here you go. Lots and lots of pics over the last few months crammed onto two postings! Shame on Mommy. Oh well, I hope you enjoy!

Hey Conan, how do you do this again?

Oh Yeah! I remember now!!!

My first time at the pool!

Come on in! The water's just fine!

Kierstyn's got the ball now, but I'm gonna make a play for it!

Say Ahhh!

Well, yesterday I took Jake to the pool for the first time, and he LOVED it. At first he didn't know what was going on, but it only took him 30 seconds to realized he liked it. He started trying to get out of my arms and go everywhere! Then he started his funny little excited monkey sound. It was sooo cute. I can't wait to go back with him. I have a feeling we are going to be at the pool alot this summer... Hopefully Daddy can come next time!

Man, they grow up fast.

Anybody up for a game of catch?!

This is my good friend Ryan!

How about 19 holes? Well, after I do a little tasting that is!
Hey everyone, this is Zane! He's a good friend too!

Jake is growing up so fast. He is pulling himself up all over everything, and getting into all kinds of trouble now. He attended his friends Kierstyn's first birthday party. He rode a carousel. He's getting sooooooo big. I just can't believe how much my little boy is growing up. Part of me wants him to stay little forever, but I also want to see all there is to come! I can't wait to hear him say "I love you" and "Mama." And I can't wait to play a board game with him. And I can't wait for him to swim. But I also want to hold him and cuddle with him forever. Is that possible? Nope. One day he'll be embarrassed that he even has a mom. Oh well. I guess for now, I'll steal all the kisses I can.

I had the best gift ever!

Ok so my birthday was this past Tuesday, and Brian let me sleep in a little. I had totally forgotten it was my birthday when I hear
"Ok, are you ready? Just like we practiced..."
I'm thinking that Brian and Jake are going to jump on me and tickle me. Then I hear Brian in a quiet little voice start to sing,
"Happy Birthday to Mom. Happy Birthday to Mom...(ect.)"
I roll over to see Brian holding Jake; who is standing on the bed, holding a big birthday candle in his little fist, smiling from ear to ear, and laughing!
It was the best birthday surprise ever. I will never forget that sweet moment as long as I live, and I couldn't have asked for a better gift than that.

Can I be mushy, just this once?

Ok, I'm normally not a mushy person. In fact, I'm probably the most unmushy girl you'll ever meet. But I have to get mushy for just a second about my husband. I can't believe how lucky I am sometimes. Brian has been having some issues with a company that he's working with, and it's really uncool. But in hearing about all of the problems, it makes me realize just how lucky I am. Brian is the most admirable person that I have ever met. He would never cheat anybody on anything. I am so blessed to have him in my life, not only as my husband, but my best friend. He helps me with Jake, he helps with house work, and he is just my all around knight in shining armor. I only hope that everyone can have as great a man as me! I love you Brian! Thanks for being soooo wonderful!

For Alessia

This post is for my best friend Alessia. She really means sooo much to me. She bought this outfit for Jake while she was out of town. Isn't it adorable? I can't believe how much our lives have changed since college. In some ways it seems like yesterday we were spending every minute together running around campus and lying by the pool. In other ways, that seems like a lifetime ago. I'll never forget that fall day when we saw Creed! Thanks for being such a great friend girl....I love ya!

THE BEST WEEKEND EVER!!!

We had the best weekend in the history of weekends! Well, at least in MY history of weekends. On Saturday we went to Heard Museum. They have all kinds of neat stuff to look at, and some great hiking trails. Mommy, Daddy and I went for a 3 mile hike and had a really good time. I rode in a baby backpack that the museum let us borrow! I LOVED it. I just kept chatting and chatting. At one point mommy asked "Do you like that?" and I responded "Dy dyk dat!" Mommy said it was really cute. I slept for about half the hike and boy was it the best sleep! It was one of the best times that the three of us had together and Mommy and Daddy will never forget it! Mommy, Daddy and I can't wait to go back!

This is me at the beginning of the hike! I'm ready for action!

Here I am headed down the trail with Daddy!

This was at the end of the hike. I was soooo sleepy!

Then Sunday was Easter. We went to church with Mimi and Grandad and had a good time. Mommy really liked the choir! She got goose bumps from how beautiful they sounded. And that's saying a lot for Mommy! I did a great job of sitting still and being quiet too. Yea me! After church, Aunt Sharon, Aunt Susan, Uncle David and Mimi and Grandad came over to our house. We had a great time! Mimi and Grandad gave me a Duck that quacks songs, and I named him Quacker. He makes me laugh! We sat outside and enjoyed the nice day. It was a really nice family day at home. I was sooooo tuckered out after they left that I went to sleep at 7pm and didn't wake up till 7am! Yea for Mommy! I hope everyone had a Great Easter and remembered what it's all about! Not Easter bunnies, but Jesus!

This was when I first met Quacker. He's an awesome duck!

Dallas Blooms at the Arboretum

Yesterday we went to the Arboretum with a bunch of my friends. It's really convinient because their mommies are my Mommy's friends too. We had a really good time, eventhough we didn't see much. I really liked the grass. It's soooo soft. We are going to go back soon and get even more pictures. A big shout out to Tommy and his Mommy Clare who not only gave us a ride, but packed a lunch for all of us, and let us in on her family pass! Thanks Miss Clare! I hope you all enjoy the pics!

Mommy, this carpet is nicer than ours!

Wonder how this would taste...

Jungle Boy!

Luv ya!

Maybe it doesn't taste so good afterall...

These are Mommy's friends! They belong to a Stay at Home Moms group who've dubbed themselves the Mall Mommies. This is Diann, Clare, Mommy, and Sussanne...otherwise known as Kierstyn's mommy, Tommy's mommy, My mommy, and Dylan's Mommy!
