My Buddy!

Hey everyone,
This is Conan! He's showing me a ball, which just happen to be one of his favorite kinds of toys. I'm sure of this because he's always talking about them! Anyway, I was over at his house the other day and we had a good time. He said "Hi!" and I said "Hi!" back! He's a big kid and I love watching him play, but watch out Conan...I'm catching up with you!

So that's what a ball is....

I saw these sunglasses and just had to have them. They will look great with the swim trunks that Mimi and Grandad brought back from Hawaii for me! I have 4 pairs of swim trunks because of the ones that Conan is letting me borrow. He's a big kid and has out grown them! I feel as cool as him with my shades!

My future's so bright...I gotta wear shades...

I'm still growing like crazy!

I'm growing like crazy and mommy hasn't been able to keep up with the blog this month. I've grown in my two bottom teeth and am cutting another! I also drank out of sippy cup, and held it myself. On top of everything I've learned how to sit up on my own, and stand holding on to the coffee table. I'm also saying Ama (Mama) Adi (Daddy) and Nini (bottle). Unfortunately for the last 12 days I've had a cold, an ear infection, an eye infection, and just plain haven't felt very good. But, I'm still happy in the mornings, thank goodness. I hope you all enjoy the pics!

Six Months

Can you believe it? Our little guy is 6 months old. Boy does time fly when you're having fun. Jake brings us such happiness. He fills our life with laughter and wonder. I can't believe 6 months has passed already, and at the same time it seems like he's always been here, because I can't imagine life without him. I love seeing how much he learns and changes everyday and I can't wait to see what the next 6 months will bring.

My new girlfriend!

Hi Everyone! I just love going and seeing Aunt Rita's puppies. I talked Mommy into going again and had such a good time. They are so sweet and soft, and I really like to look at them!

Jake On Tour

Much to Mimi's delight, I've learned to play golf! In fact, I've been on tour with her, all over the U.S.! Watch out when I have my Snoopy Clubs! They are better than any old Titleist Club!

Aunt Rita's Puppies

Hi Everyone,
I went to visit Aunt Rita's Puppies again this weekend. They are so cute. I love the way the feel on my hand! I liked to squeeze them and Mommy had to keep pulling my hand off so I wouldn't squeeze too hard!


I love Bell! She is a sweet mommy! So I gave her a kiss to show how much!


Can't I sleep with the puppies? They are so cuddly...I want to sleep too!

Hi Daddy! 1/24/06

Hi Daddy,
I went to visit Aunt Rita's puppies! They are so cute. They still have their eyes closed and everything! They were feeding when I got there, and mommy felt sorry for Bell because she looked so sleepy. Mommy kept saying "It's hard being a mommy isn't it girl." I don't what she was talking about, but she felt really sorry for her. Anyway, after seeing the pups I went for a walk with Miss Michelle and Ryan. Ryan is really cool. We touched hands! It was fun. Then we went to Mimi and Grandad's and had dinner. I played with my Weebles and am getting so good at it. I also came really close to rolling over! If I hold on to Mommy's finger I can pull myself over, but not without that. Then I got really sleepy, so Mommy and I came home.

I miss you and can't wait to see you!

For Daddy 1/23/06

Hi Daddy! Today I went to Ikea with Mommy and saw Miss Michelle and Ryan! We didn't get to see much of the store because I got hungry and sleepy so Mommy fed me and put me down. Then we went to Double Dave's Pizza (not Mommy's choice) and I played with Ryan! I had fun playing with his feet while he was in his car seat! He thought it was really fun too! We had a good time.

I miss you so much, and Mommy misses you too. We are having fun, but can't wait for you to get home so that we can give you a big hug and kiss!

For Daddy 1/22/05

This week's posts are for Daddy while he's out of town. I miss him soooo much, and can't wait to play when he gets back!


I was getting ready for bed and mommy tickled me! I thought it was really funny!


This was when I first laid down to get my night clothes on. As you can see, I'm very happy about the idea.

I finally decided to start a blog, and figured this was the best way to start it! This is the first picture of Jake with Santa Clause. Jake went with his friend Conan and stood in line an hour and half! The 'Big Guy' was so great. Jake was a grump from standing in line so long, but Santa really brought out the best in him. We then spent the day at the mall just walking around and checking out the latest Christmas decorations.

We are so blessed to have Jake. He is a happy little baby and loves to play! I think he already says Mama, but everyone thinks I'm crazy. Being his mommy is the best thing I could have ever hoped for. And of course Brian is a great Dad. When he get's home from work, Jake always smiles really big and is so excited to see him. I wish only the best for my sweet boy and I am so excited to spend this Christmas and every Christmas with him!



Daddy are you sure about that? I mean...is there really more to eat than milk!?

My first spoon fed meal. It was rice cereal and I really enjoyed it! Not too messy heh?
